KEY PLAYERS AND THEIR CHARACTERISTICS

Elderson Echiejile, Ogenyi Onazi, Ahmed Musa, and Victor Moses

Elderson Echiejile is a veteran defender who plays a role on the team of keeping things simple by clearing out the danger, holding the opposing team to as close to zero as possible, and setting up attacking players with outlet passes that are beneficial to their upfield momentum.

Ogenyi Onazi is a midfielder found in the middle who is a playmaker in the guise of Pirlo; he’s good with the dribble in small spaces, creating space for a simple outlet to continue possession or a telling through pass to an onrushing forward. And, like Pirlo, the chances of him scoring a goal are very low; in Onazi’s case, it’s about as likely as a UFO sighting.

Ahmed Musa, a 5′7″ forward, signed with Leicester City in 2016. Previously, he was with CSKA Moscow from 2012-2016, where he scored 42 goals. He’s an engaging forward that can turn on the speed and really create danger for an opposing team.

Victor Moses rounds up the attack, bringing a lot of experience from the EPL with Chelsea and a handful of other English teams, including Crystal Palace, Wigan Athletic, Liverpool, Stoke City, and West Ham United. He sparkles the field with skill, dribbling ability in tight spaces, elusive moves around the sidelines, and he is also equipped with a strong shot that makes headaches for goalies. Given a little time on the ball, Victor Moses will likely make something happen.
